- This week presented me with a job that was one of sentimental value.
- It was a 40 year old, polyester/cotton Jacquard lounge suite that the hubby had bought when he moved out of home.
- His wife wasn’t so keen on it, so the boys had inherited it when they left home, but now they no longer wanted it.
- But he just couldn’t let go of it – it was a major purchase for him back in the day and held too many memories, so he brought it back to their new home, much to his wife’s dismay!
- She had reluctantly agreed, but only on the condition that it got a clean – its first one in its entire existence and to be fair, it was showing it!
- My challenge: make it look presentable. Challenge accepted!
- This was an easy one for me, given I’d cut my teeth on doing similar ones when I started 36 years ago, so I ripped into it and I have to say, I was pleased with my efforts, as was my customer!
