- There is a carpet that does get sold quite a bit for both its luxurious feel and its ability to resist staining… but don’t believe the hype.
- I had one customer last week that had already had her carpet cleaned twice after her aging pup had had a wee accident.
- Both times the stain seemed mostly ok when wet, but reappeared.
- I had been called in as a warranty inspection, but knew straight away what the cause was – Triexta fibre with excessive detergent residues, mainly created when she had attempted to clean it herself and not suitably flushed afterwards!
- So lots of flushing later with a little chemistry to ensure no issues afterwards and we had a very relieved customer, not just the dog 😀
